On June 22, 2020, President Trump issued an Executive Order expanding and extending his April 22 Executive Order that suspends some immigration from outside the U.S, which was due to expire on June 23. The Executive Order extends the initial green card ban until December 31, 2020 and includes additional substantial restrictions on several categories of temporary worker visas. The Executive Order is effective on June 24, 2020.
The June Executive Order applies to individuals seeking to enter the U.S. from another country through the following immigrant and nonimmigrant work visa programs.
