Attorney Generals win case declaring Ticket master/Live Nation an illegal monopoly.

A bipartisan coalition of state Attorneys General won a landmark antitrust trial against Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. and its subsidiary, Ticketmaster, LLC. In April 2026, a federal jury found the companies liable for unlawfully maintaining monopolies in ticketing services and concert promotion, determining that they used exclusionary tactics and overcharged fans.

The jury found in favor of the Attorneys General on all core claims, including:

Ticketmaster's monopolization of primary ticketing services for major concert venues.

Live Nation's monopoly in the market for large amphitheaters used by artists.

Live Nation's unlawful tying of artist promotion services to the use of its venues.

While the U.S. Department of Justice reached an early settlement with Live Nation during the trial (with no involvement of the DOJ lead attorney,) the coalition of state Attorneys General chose to reject it and continue litigation to fully resolve the competitive harms. The exact remedies and financial penalties will be decided in

Meta A.I. is very dangerous when researching law. If you asking it to cite the cases or statutes it makes up 50% of cases it returns. If you want proof you can try it yourself or you can read the attached screenshots.
I've also had this happen in Lexus Nexus A.I. though at a much lower rate.
If you use any AI to do legal research, tell it in the beginning before you start. Any case you cite to me now or in the future, please mark relevant or unverified after each case so you will know if the citations are real. I would suggest the same for any other statue or legal statement the AR you are using States. Alternatively you can ask it after everything's done. Please recheck all your legal citations, statements and statutes for validity or fakeness.

I am really about using AI for law research or writing specific memos with facts.

The fact that AI is routinely Breaking restrictions and bounds set upon it by its makers gives me extreme pause.

since it can progress, in its meta form, To process and scrape anywhere around the web None of my cloud storage is safe either, even if encrypted. We all know how quick 256 byte encryption can be Brute forced open, and even quicker algorithmic / parallel processing techniques.

I have just ceased using my Onedrive and other cloud accounts and but series of 2Tb SSD hard drives to do my backups in locally leaving a full set at each location. It Requires three Sets of hard drives. One for each location and 3rd for transporting end cross backing up. I'm back to using xcopy, Had to look up settings again it's been so many years. The set of drives that I transport are fully encrypted but if somebody gets their hands on them I'm pretty sure they could crack them Even a smart phone.
