I am really about using AI for law research or writing specific memos with facts.
The fact that AI is routinely Breaking restrictions and bounds set upon it by its makers gives me extreme pause.
since it can progress, in its meta form, To process and scrape anywhere around the web None of my cloud storage is safe either, even if encrypted. We all know how quick 256 byte encryption can be Brute forced open, and even quicker algorithmic / parallel processing techniques.
I have just ceased using my Onedrive and other cloud accounts and but series of 2Tb SSD hard drives to do my backups in locally leaving a full set at each location. It Requires three Sets of hard drives. One for each location and 3rd for transporting end cross backing up. I'm back to using xcopy, Had to look up settings again it's been so many years. The set of drives that I transport are fully encrypted but if somebody gets their hands on them I'm pretty sure they could crack them Even a smart phone.
