I am really about using AI for law research or writing specific memos with facts.

The fact that AI is routinely Breaking restrictions and bounds set upon it by its makers gives me extreme pause.

since it can progress, in its meta form, To process and scrape anywhere around the web None of my cloud storage is safe either, even if encrypted. We all know how quick 256 byte encryption can be Brute forced open, and even quicker algorithmic / parallel processing techniques.

I have just ceased using my Onedrive and other cloud accounts and but series of 2Tb SSD hard drives to do my backups in locally leaving a full set at each location. It Requires three Sets of hard drives. One for each location and 3rd for transporting end cross backing up. I'm back to using xcopy, Had to look up settings again it's been so many years. The set of drives that I transport are fully encrypted but if somebody gets their hands on them I'm pretty sure they could crack them Even a smart phone.

THE PROBLEM WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR LAW OFFICES: Al breaks privilege and exposes everything to Discovery as Terms Of Condition (TOC) always state that anything you input can be used for training; therefore it is accessible by others. Until the TOC changes, we're not using Al for my office.
How are you to deal with the new Federal Decision that AI breaks confidentiality and is fully discoverable?

4 elementary students detained from Minnesota School.

ICE agents have detained four children in the same Minnesota school district in recent weeks, including a 5-year-old named Liam Ramos, who was detained on Tuesday along with his father as he returned home from preschool in Columbia Heights.

School officials say ICE agents tried to use Liam as “bait” by asking him to ring the bell to his home to help agents detain additional people. Another adult living in the home is said to have “begged the agents” to leave Liam with them but the ICE agents refused.

Liam’s older brother arrived home from middle school about 20 minutes later to find his younger brother and father were gone.

Liam and his father are now in immigration detention in Texas, the family’s attorney told The Washington Post. While they are not U.S. citizens, they “have been following the legal process perfectly, from presenting themselves at the border to applying for asylum and waiting for the process to go through,” the attorney said.

One of Liam’s teachers said in a statement, “Liam is a bright young student. He is so kind and loving, and his classmates miss him. He comes into class every day and just brightens the room. All I want is for him to be back here and safe.”
