This is me every time I hear someone tell me that they don’t need to do their estate plan because their children will know what to do….My response: No they won’t! They are going to be confused, they are going to argue, they are going to be frustrated and wish you had a will because one of your kids are not going to follow your wishes. My advice: to prevent confusion and to make sure your wishes are carried out, at minimum, go seek a lawyer to get your Will done.
