Gini Sikes is a Los Angeles-based comedian who appears at The Improv, The Comedy Store, The Gotham Comedy Club, and more. As an award-winning journalist, she has captured the inner lives of such iconic actors as Nicolas Cage and Harrison Ford, along with coal miners, astrophysicists, and chimps who spoke sign language (!) for numerous publications including The Washington Post, Glamour, Essence, Travel and Leisure, and The New York Times. She also has produced documentaries for Investigation Discovery, PBS, and MTV. Her book, 8ball Chicks, chronicles her year spent with girl gangs. When not pondering world evil, this self-proclaimed pessimistic Pollyanna performs comedy to make sense of it all. She's like the sunshine -- during an eclipse.

I'm competing in the Detroit to LA Competition at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle next Tuesday evening, 9/17/2024. There are two ways I can win, the judge's vote and the audience's vote! If you can come out to support me and the other competitors, please do so! Its going to be a fun night!!
