Reconsider Conflict
Why is this conflict in my life? Do you ever consider that question? Jesus was a carpenter in His early years and He used tools to build things. Conflict can be a tool He uses to build the men and women He wants us to be in the kingdom. Remember that when you feel like you are being screwed, hammered, drilled, pressed into a tight spot, straightened out, squeezed, cut, stood up, taken down, or leveled. Maybe your conflict is simply a tool being used to build something beautiful and useful to the Master Builder. If we mistake God’s purpose and design for the unpleasant things in our lives we are likely to confuse something He is using for construction with something intended for destruction.
