A little honesty from your property manager…

I’ve learned something over the last 20+ years.

I am not everyone’s cup of tea.

And that’s okay.

I’m direct. I believe in honest conversations, even when they’re uncomfortable. I’ll tell an owner when I think a property is overpriced. I’ll tell a tenant what the lease says. I’ll admit when I’ve made a mistake, and I’ll work to make it right.

What I won’t do is tell people what they want to hear just to avoid conflict.

Property management is built on trust.

Owners trust me with one of their largest investments.

Tenants trust me to treat them fairly and consistently.

I take both responsibilities seriously.

Does that mean everyone agrees with every decision I make? Of course not.

Does it mean everyone likes me? Definitely not. 😅

But my goal has never been to be liked by everyone. My goal is to be honest, fair, consistent, and professional.

Jesus called his people salt of the earth. Not sugar. Salt preserves. Salt protects. Salt brings out what’s real.

I’ll take that over telling people what they want to hear any day.

If you’re looking for someone who will always agree with you, I may not be the right fit.

If you’re looking for someone who will tell you the truth, work hard, own their mistakes, and advocate for your investment with integrity…

We’ll probably get along just fine.
