We would be remiss not to highlight one of the most important pieces of Matthews Law & Associates, Denise DeMarco Smith.
With over 36 years of experience in the legal field, Denise brings an extensive background in Civil Litigation, Family Law, Personal Injury Litigation, Probate and Dependency matters at Matthews Law & Associates. Denise obtained her Bachelor's degree in Administration at the University of Miami and received her Paralegal certification at Broward Community College.
Denise was born in Miami, Florida and transplanted here to Tampa in 1998. Denise has raised three daughters while continuing her passionate work in the legal field.
Denise is a member of the Krewe of Sea Saveyours, a Gasparilla Krewe, who fundraise for various charities around the Tampa Bay Area. Throughout the year, Denise enjoys volunteering in food drives for Echo, the Guardian Ad Litem Program, the Rough Rider Teddy Bear Ride up (collecting toys to provide to vulnerable children when the police have to get involved and/or shelter children), The Spring, Boys and Girls Club of Brandon, Military Moms, the Humane Society, Veterans, Bue Star Mothers (who assist military families), and Temple Terrace Junior Women's Club, to name a few. When not at the office, Denise enjoys spending time with her family or with her with her closest friends on the water.
Her commitment to helping others and extensive professional experience is an integral part to the client-oriented practice at Matthews Law & Associates.
