Do I Really Need a Trust?
It's one of the most common questions I hear.
The answer? Maybe—but not everyone does.
A trust can provide important benefits, such as avoiding probate, maintaining privacy, and making it easier to manage assets if you become incapacitated. But a trust is not the right solution for every person or every family.
That's why estate planning isn't about selling documents. It's about understanding your goals, your family, and your concerns.
Many clients come in unsure of what they need—and that's perfectly okay. You don't have to have all the answers before you schedule an appointment.
Part of my job is helping clients think through difficult decisions, explain the options, and serve as a neutral guide through the process. Together, we can determine whether a trust makes sense for your particular situation.
Most clients are surprised by how easy and comfortable the process can be.
