Bradenton & Sarasota is as strong as her small towns. Her small towns, as strong as our families. Our families, as strong as the fathers. This is why we believe being fathers to our children is hands-down the most important job we’ve ever signed up for.
Way back in 1987, Randy Travis sang some lyrics that ring true still today. He said “Daddies don’t just love their children every now and then. It’s a love without end, amen.”
Being a father isn’t just a title, it’s about who you are. And who you are leaves a legacy.
Every day, we try to be fathers that will give our children the future every parent hopes to pass on to the next generation. From being dads for numerous years, we’ve learned that a family needs a father who’s courageous, kind, sacrificial, resilient, and fearless. In 50 years, they won’t care about what we did, but who we were and how we loved them.
We are just humans, like every other dad. We make lots of mistakes.
But we believe fatherhood is something worth waking up for every day. It’s worth the pain of failure and worth the joy when you get it right. It’s worth sacrificing for.
It’s worth celebrating.
So, if you’re a dad like us - from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. If you’ve been a father figure to a child, thank you for stepping up. Thank you for what you do, and thank you for who you are. Our town, our families, and the next generation literally depends on who you are as a father.
