The Cahall Law Firm is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for an experienced Litigation Paralegal. Owner and practitioner, Don Cahall, opened his general civil litigation law firm in 2021 after spending years in the practice and focuses on intentional torts, personal injury, small business litigation, HOA disputes, and consumer protection.

An ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of experience in civil law, though candidates with a background or focus on other fields of Florida law may be considered. We seek a full-time paralegal, though flexibility and part-time options may be proposed and discussed. A remote work option is not currently available for this position.
The successful candidate will be eager to gain immediate experience in all portions of the litigation process. Daily responsibilities may include:
-Manage cases, clients, and communications with third parties through all portions of representation.
-Draft demand letters, notices, motions, lawsuits, and discovery requests and responses.
-Provide litigation support by outlining strategy for and assisting in mediations, trials, and settlement discussions.
-Perform procedural tasks such as filing, scheduling, and preparing courtesy copies and trial exhibits.
-Utilizing the Florida eFiling Portal, Federal PACER Portal, and JACS calendaring system.
-Prepare subpoenas for certified records for service and locate individuals for service.
-Request public and medical records.
