HAMILTON PRICE, PA ENTERS JOINT VENTURE WITH WILL SHAFFER OF BOUZIANE SHAFFER, LLC
Hamilton Price, P.A. is committed to providing outstanding legal services to meet your estate planning, guardianship and probate needs. With that commitment in mind, this October, 2025, Hamilton Price, P.A. has entered a new joint venture with William Shaffer of Bouziane Shaffer, LLC. Mr. Shaffer has extensive experience of over 10 years actively involved in the practice of estate planning and probate/trust administration. Hamilton Price, P.A. will work in conjunction with Mr. Shaffer in the representation of all clients currently and previously represented in the joint-venture with Ms. Erika Dine, Attorney Katie Cok, and retired Attorney Ron Witt. Hamilton Price, P.A. will continue to hold and protect all closed files and all original documents currently in Hamilton Price, P.A.’s possession pursuant to the Rules of the Florida Bar. Hamilton Price, P.A. is looking forward to working with Mr. Shaffer to keep serving your estate planning, guardianship, and probate needs.

Hamilton, Price & Marshall, P.A. would like to announce its newest partner to the firm, Sara W. Mapes, Esq.
Sara has been with the firm since May of 2020 and became a partner this August, 2023. Her main focus is Construction Litigation. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from New College of Florida in 2004 with a major in Biology. Thereafter, she worked as an Environmental Specialist for ten years before attending Stetson University College of Law. Sara earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.), Cum Laude from, Stetson in 2014 with a concentration in Environmental Law. During law school, Ms. Mapes earned the Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award, and awards for achieving the highest grade in research and writing, animal law seminar, and land use law. Ms. Mapes also served as Biodiversity Fellow to Professor Royal Gardner, and was the recipient of the Sarasota County Bar Association’s Richard R. Garland Diversity Scholarship. Sara’s legal writing has been published in The Trial Lawyer, JustLaw, and The Lawyer’s Logbook. She is a Barrister in the Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court, a member of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee “C”, which is Florida Bar appointed, and a member of the Sarasota and Manatee County Bar associations.

In her spare time, Sara enjoys spending time outdoors at her Sarasota homestead with her young son, two French bulldogs, and plethora of farm animals.

Our busy but small, well-established law firm is looking for an efficient, organized legal assistant/paralegal to add to our family-like team to assist our attorneys and clients in estate planning and probate matters. Responsibilities will be to assist with preparation of legal documents, handle all office correspondence including answering phone calls and emails from clients, arrange meetings and appointments, take dictation, and copy and scan documents, among other responsibilities necessary to help the firm runs smoothly.
