Unbundling in law firms has finally turned a significant corner. Expect it to spread to other practice areas and for clients to start requesting it.

This Wall Street Journal post discusses the prevalence of self-help legal centers while also acknowledging the need for limited scope representation in many of the complex cases that clients have. Bozeman has a self-help legal center at the Law and Justice Center (link posted below). Go through the main entrance and it is to the left across from the Sheriff's customer service window.

LegalZoom and Limited Scope Representation are not going anywhere. If anything, they've become a major component in our legal system.

Great article on the current -- and painfully slow to change -- landscape of American justice and legal representation. As The Atlantic notes, lawyers are notoriously bad at accommodating for shifting consumer demands. Montana Legal Group is definitely hoping to offer that next generation of affordable, predictable, and transparent legal representation.
