1⃣ FIND A REAL ESTATE AGENT YOU TRUST. This is my number one tip to anyone looking to buy or sell their home or investment property. A qualified agent can provide you with guidance and advice through the process.

2⃣UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS. Do your research and take the time to educate yourself on what to expect when selling your home.

3⃣SET REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS. Don't expect to get an offer right away or to get the exact amount you're asking for. It could take some time to find the right buyer and price.

4⃣TAKE TIME TO GET YOUR HOME READY FOR VIEWING. Decluttering and cleaning are a huge part of getting your home ready to view. You want the buyer to see themselves in your home, not you.

5⃣ MAKE SURE YOUR FINANCES ARE IN ORDER. Before you list your home you need to make sure you understand the costs associated with selling, such as the closing costs, real estate fees, and transfer taxes
