🙏🏾🕊️ FREEDOM FRIDAY

Some chains don't make noise.

Shame.
Guilt.
Fear.
Bitterness.
Comparison.
Unforgiveness.
The belief that your past has disqualified you from your future.

They can keep you imprisoned without a single locked door.

But here's the beautiful thing about spiritual growth:

God isn't limited by the chapters you're ashamed of.

Your mistakes can teach you.
Your wounds can heal.
Your faith can grow.
Your perspective can change.
Your story can continue.

And forgiveness doesn't always mean reconciliation or restored access. Sometimes forgiveness is part of releasing what has occupied too much space in your heart.

One day you may look back and realize...

These were some of the good days.

Not because everything was perfect.

But because someone you love was still here.

Because your children were still at this age.

Because you could still call that person.

Because your family could still gather around the table.

Because you had another morning.

Another conversation.

Another laugh.

Another ordinary Thursday.

We spend so much time waiting for the next thing that sometimes we forget we're already living inside moments we'll eventually miss.

So today...

Slow down.

Look around.

Take the picture. 📸

Make the memory.

Say “I love you.”

Enjoy the ordinary.

🙏🏾 And whisper, “Thank You, God, for right now.”

You don't need a perfect life to find something worth thanking God for today.

One of the biggest traps for creatives is believing success requires becoming a version of somebody who already made it.

Study the greats.
Respect the craft.
Learn the business.
Develop your skills.

But don't lose your voice trying to reproduce someone else's.

Your perspective.
Your experiences.
Your humor.
Your pain.
Your faith.
Your imagination.
Your weird little creative quirks. 🎨

🖊️📄 NOTARY TUESDAY WITH CONNECTING LIVES ENTERPRISES!

You've probably heard, “I need to get this notarized.”

But what does a Notary Public actually do? 🤔

A notary serves as an impartial witness during certain transactions and helps deter fraud by performing duties such as:

🪪 Verifying the identity of the signer
✍🏾 Witnessing or acknowledging signatures when required
📋 Completing the appropriate notarial certificate
🔍 Helping ensure the signer appears willing and aware of the transaction

One important thing to remember:

🚨 A Notary Public is not automatically an attorney and cannot provide legal advice unless separately authorized to practice law.

Notarization doesn't mean the notary is approving the contents of your document. It means the required notarial act has been properly performed.

Happy Birthday to the Founder of Connecting Lives Enterprises, Chanté Davis! 🎂✨

But behind every title is a woman who simply believes that lives change when people feel seen, heard, encouraged, and empowered to become who they were created to be.

Sometimes we're looking for purpose under a spotlight when it's sitting right beside us in ordinary moments.

Purpose isn't always a microphone.
It isn't always a business.
It isn't always a title.
And it definitely isn't measured by followers.

Sometimes purpose looks like...

❤️ Raising your children well.
🤝🏾 Helping someone through a difficult season.
💼 Bringing integrity into your workplace.
📞 Making the phone call someone desperately needed.
🌱 Mentoring someone coming behind you.
🙏🏾 Being obedient to something God placed on your heart when nobody else understands it.

Don't become so focused on finding your “big purpose” that you overlook the meaningful work already in front of you.

Let's talk about something bigger than buying a house.

Building a financial future.

For many families, homeownership can become one component of long-term wealth building.

As mortgage principal is paid down and property values change over time, homeowners may build equity in their property.

But let's be clear:

🏡 Buying a home isn't automatically the right financial decision for everyone.

Your income, debt, savings, lifestyle, expected time in the home, local market, financing terms, maintenance costs, and personal goals ALL matter.

That's why the goal shouldn't simply be:

“I want to buy a house.”

Try:

“I want to make informed financial decisions that help me build the life and legacy I want.” 💜

Ownership should come with education, preparation, and a plan.

Here's something wonderfully freeing:

Everybody doesn't have to understand you.

They don't have to understand why you changed.

Why you said no.

Why you're starting over.

Why you're protecting your peace.

Why you're pursuing THAT dream.

Why your priorities changed.

Why you stopped explaining yourself.

You can spend years auditioning for the approval of people who were never assigned to direct your life. 🎬

Consider this your permission slip to retire from the audition.

Listen to wise counsel.
Accept constructive feedback.
Remain teachable.

But don't confuse other people's opinions with instructions for your life.

💜 FREEDOM FRIDAY CHALLENGE:

Make ONE decision this weekend based on what is healthy and right for you, not what will make everyone else comfortable.

🙏🏾🚪 THANKFUL THURSDAY

Can we be thankful for the doors that DIDN'T open?

The opportunity you desperately wanted.

The relationship you thought would last.

The plan that fell apart.

The answer that was “no.”

The thing you prayed for that never happened.

Some disappointments only make sense when you look at them from the other side.

What felt like rejection may have been redirection.

What felt like a delay may have given you time to grow.

What looked like losing something may have created room for something you couldn't see yet.

Not every closed door was punishment.

Some were protection. Some were preparation. And some simply weren't YOUR door. 💜

🙏🏾 TODAY'S REFLECTION:

Is there something you once cried about losing that you're now grateful didn't work out?

Sometimes gratitude arrives late.

But when it gets there...whew. 🙌🏾

Thank God for the YES.
Thank God for the NO.
And trust Him while you're waiting on the NEXT.
