Those in power have many weapons against those who do not control the system. The court is probably the most destructive force the rich and powerful use to stop or slow down people who want justice and regularly practice their first amendmen
t rights. People are forced to go to multiple court dates. If you work or you have a life (all of us do, homeless or not), it is relatively impossible to make it to court every time. Even if your in jail, they already have you incarcerated, you can somehow miss court and end up with a FTA. Then there are these stupid rules most of us can't figure out. With support, we can win.
