ced by a public agency in the U.S. Martyn has worked on several hundred business relocations including relocation planning and preparation of costs exceeding $35M. Martyn’s specific expertise for appraisers and attorneys includes, developing real property improvement cost estimates as high as $31M, and developing solutions to cure partial property taking damages and their cost-to-cure estimates in amounts exceeding $700K. Knowledge of various states’ methods for distinguishing personal property from real property has resulted in distinguishing nearly $10M in personal property from real property. He supports his work as necessary through compelling presentations, depositions, mediations, and trial. Such work has required knowledge of the Acquisition and Relocation guidelines of FTA, FHWA, FAA, including local public agency guidelines.
