Colter, one of our best character and expert witnesses, is graduating this year! We wish him all the best as he works in biotech for a year before continuing his education!

"Mock Trial has been such an incredible experience for me. I did debate in high school, and when I first came to Northeastern I wanted to branch out into other areas of performing. Being a witness has helped me discover sides of myself I didn't know I could bring out, and the people on the team have helped me really discover what I want to do with my life. I'll always be grateful for the memories and friendships that I've made on this team, and I'll cherish this experience for a long time to come."

Our treasurer, Alex, is graduating! We'll miss him in the club next year, but we're excited to have him nearby as he earns his MS in accounting at here Northeastern before starting work at KPMG.

"Mock Trial has made so many great memories for me. It was amazing to see everyone grow so much over the past year and I hope that more people can join to share the experience. Maybe it was all of the late nights and long meetings, but in mock, I really grew close to all of my teammates and found life-long friends. The hard work of prepping for competitions and slugging it out in objection battles was always juxtaposed by the humor and silliness of my teammates. Through it all we created crazy theories, made the wackiest themes out of alliteration, and just ended up hanging and chatting hours after a meeting had ended. I loved all of it."

Congratulations and good luck to Julia, founding member and former president of our club. After graduating this year, Julia will start a new chapter as a software engineer at Google!

"Mock Trial is the craziest activity. You bring together a group of people who may never be headed to law- who may be actors, or computer scientists, who have nothing in common on paper, and together they spend a year working, in a task that can be grueling, and thankless. And yet, Mock Trialers are a loyal group. They come back year after year, in high school and in college, they form new clubs, write lengthy bylaws, and pour their hearts into this activity for no reason other than the love they have for it. What I appreciate most about Mock Trial is the fact that it can inspire people to do that. This club, and this activity is an invaluable experience- if you’re thinking about trying out, do it!"

We had a great night of speed dating and board games with last Thursday!

We enjoyed meeting members of another law-focused club, and we're excited to collaborate more in the future!

This Friday, our teams celebrated the end of a great season at our first annual awards ceremony and banquet. Congratulations to everyone on their superlatives, and special congratulations to Shreya and Vince (slide four) on winning the SPNULAC award 😀

Congratulations to our C Team for earning the Spirit of AMTA Award Honorable Mention at their first Regional Tournament! We were so impressed by their performance this weekend and can't wait to see what they'll accomplish next!
