BEER YOU SHOULD BE DRINKING PART 2:
Garage Beer Lager with lime. I know I know, everyone is over saturated with Taylor and Travis, but the one thing I’m not over saturated with is their beer! Light, crisp, and refreshing. Perfect to help beat this NC heat and humidity.
Montucky Cold Snacks lager. Crazy name, crazy (awesome) logo/color scheme, and even better lager. Now this isn’t your classic light golden color lager, this one has some color to it, and just the right amount of roasty notes. This beer makes me feel like I’m 21 again where I can drink a ton of them, and not feel bloated and full after the first one. I’m so happy and thankful to find a beer that is flavorful, and easy drinking!!
Divine Barrel Brewing Beer Flavored Beer lager. What you see is what you get. A beer flavored beer. This beer won gold in the Carolina Cup, and was basically named the best lager in NC. The judges, and my taste buds were right. It’s again one of those that if you see it, get it!

The opinions expressed are exactly that my own opinion (whatever that’s worth). No rating system, just some great craft beers!
Incendiary Brewing Company Watermon Rice Lager. It’s exactly what the label says. Cold, smooth, refreshing watermelon flavor (without the taste of cucumber), and that super clean crisp lager finish we all crave after a long day!
HopFly Brewing Co Bootleg Fireworks Fruited Sour. This lactose free fruited sour is the perfect summer beer for those who like sours, a full bodied beer with a great mouthfeel, and nostalgia! This is a literal “bomb pop” popsicle that we all loved as kids, except now it’s a beer!
Perfect poolside, or just about anywhere honestly!
James Amato A respectable Amount Dark English Mild.
I LOVE dark beer, I love dark beer all year long, and im so glad this beer is available in the summer because not only do you get the perfect balance of roasty, malty, and hints of toffee; you also get that rich silky smoothness of a proper English mild. This surprisingly is an every occasion beer. Porch, pool, couch, you name it, it’s probably perfect.

Next up on our brewery spotlight is the newest brewery to the area Floating Goat Brewing. Located in Lexington near High Rock Lake.
This massive brewery features spacious seating broken up into 2 rooms, lots of TVs, and plenty of room for everyone.
They also offer beautiful outdoor seating if that’s more your speed.
They currently offer 6 different beers ranging from IPA, to brown ale, light lager, to even a sour. All their beers are brewed in house, and there will be a lot more to come in the near future.
The brewery also offers a full pizza menu where you can choose from a variety of 12” pizzas. They were so good I barely could get a picture lol.
So if you ever find yourself in Lexington, or on your way to the lake, be sure to stop by and try their beers. They extremely friendly staff will be more than eager to serve you!
