Surreal knowing this picture was only taken last week.. Just hours before we started receiving the first evacuation orders for Zone A - our zone. This scene in my backyard is now ravaged, gone. We had no idea the impact headed for us… No one did. As I drove around this past week, the destruction is absolutely numbing. I can’t believe it. But what’s more unbelievable is seeing our community come together as one. It’s beautiful to see the droves of people, from our next door neighbors to folks from across the nation working together to rebuild our paradise. This is a long road ahead, but on the other side we come out stronger, more unified than before. And with that I say F**K YOU HURRICANE IAN. You may have knocked us down, but we got back up swinging. 👊🏻
