Good news to finally share after all these years the Florida Justice Association has been fighting to make bodily injury liability insurance mandatory in Florida. Now this will is before the Governor to sign into law.

Only technical changes remain.

Landscaping in a commercial property must be maintained in such a way as to maintain a safe line of vision for all drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. By blocking the line of sight a dangerous condition is created. I've seen this in a number of cases. Here are two examples I noticed this morning in Naples. If you look around you may start noticing some of these.

Celebrating 25 years as an attorney this week. My wife and I went back and took a photo outside the front door to my first office in Sunshine Professional Center, Bonita Springs, FL. I am so grateful to all of my friends and colleagues who have helped me grow my law practice over all of these years. Law is an honored and noble profession and it is a true privilege to be a member of The Florida Bar.

Freedom Park in Naples is named after the Freedom Memorial, a tribute to the lives lost on 9/11/01 in the terrorist attacks and to all our Veterans of past and present wars. Whenever we practice law or engage in public affairs, it is always first and foremost with the understanding that our democratic system is grounded in the rule of law, which is the gift given us by our Veterans. Thank you to each and every Veteran for the sacrifice you made. Freedom Park is lined with photographs of some of these great men and women and is a great place to reflect on not only our many freedoms, but also our responsibility to support and defend our Constitution.

Today a client stopped in to the office with homemade scones and such a thoughtful thank you note. What a great way to complete the week late on a Friday afternoon. The relationships I have been so fortunate to have with clients over the years will always be a source of happiness and gratitude.
