I’m seeing the below statement play out daily in my market with both buyers and sellers. Buyers are less focused on pure square footage and more on comfort, flow, and livability. Homes with character, efficient layouts, energy-smart features, and low maintenance are standing out, often over larger, cookie-cutter homes.
I’m also seeing continued migration from closer-in Boston communities to towns like Bolton and surrounding areas, where buyers value space, privacy, and overall value a bit farther from the city. Multi-generational layouts, first floor primaries or in-law options, are becoming increasingly important as well.
