In 2018, Melissa Sorlien felt something was off and made sure to get her annual checkup, which led to her breast cancer diagnosis. Her journey through six rounds of chemo was brutal: she lost nearly 100 pounds and ended up in the hospital four times.

What kept her going was her family. She held tight to the dream of seeing her kids walk down the aisle and living long enough to become a grandmother.

With 1,181 homes available and 472 sold, that works out to roughly 2.5 months of inventory, so I would still call this a seller-leaning market, just not an overly aggressive one.
