I just got off the phone with my client this early morning to tell him his case just settled for the full policy limits. This lovely man had fallen on hard times, and was really struggling. I could hear the stress leaving his voice when I told him the good news.

It brings me such joy to help people I love to call clients to give them good news - makes my day!

Citizens of Florida: CALL TO ACTION! The FL legislature is seeking to put new laws on the books which WILL infringe your rights. One example which may affect you. FL legislature wants to place a criminal on a verdict form in a negligent security case, so that people like the shooting victims in Parkland would have to go after the shooter, a psychopath with no money, for compensation, instead of just those who ignored the warning signs, failed to have in place proper security, and failed to protect these kids.

I will be posting about these new laws and will explain how each effects your rights. Pay attention! Some of these proposals were sneaked in overnight. Time to call your representatives and tell them you oppose these "tort reforms."

Most people don't know that in Florida, homeowner's insurance policies often EXCLUDE coverage for dog bites. That means, if you have a dog who bites someone, you may not be covered.
