TVA.com is a really good site for individuals interested in Lake Blue Ridge and other nearby TVA monitored lakes. It is somewhat important to be aware that, although beautiful, the main purpose of the TVA is flood control and not aesthetics. Check out the Tennessee Valley Authority site. The lakes may be there for flood control, but they sure are pretty!!!

TVA is the largest public energy provider in the U.S. TVA also manages the Tennessee River and partners with communities for economic development.
