* At 256 PM EDT/156 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along

a line extending from 10 miles north of Blountstown to 13 miles

southeast of Chipley to near Vernon to 12 miles southwest of

Bonifay to 9 miles southeast of De Funiak Springs to 9 miles

northwest of Eglin Air Force Base, moving south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to

⚠️ Calhoun County Severe Weather Outlook - 6/18/26, 3:40 PM

Periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue over the next 48 hours. A Flood Watch is in effect for Calhoun County through late Friday night.

Primary concerns include:
🌧️ Heavy rainfall
⚡ Dangerous lightning
💨 Gusty winds
🌊 Localized flooding, especially in low-lying and poor-drainage areas

Rainfall totals of 3 to 7 inches are expected, with isolated higher totals of 8 to 12 inches possible. Rivers may continue to rise as runoff increases.

Calhoun County could see strong thunderstorms and heavy rainfall this afternoon and evening.

Main concerns include:
