The Karam team had an blast at our annual summer office party! A cruise down the Mississippi with Magnolia Blossom Cruises did not disappoint. From delicious food to great conversations, it was a fantastic opportunity for our team to relax, reconnect, and celebrate our shared successes. We especially enjoyed surprising Attorney Matthew Woodward with a pre-wedding celebration.

🎉 On June 18, 2024, the Biden Administration's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) took a monumental step towards family unity with the new program called Keeping Families Together! This program will allow certain noncitizen spouses and stepchildren of U.S. citizens to apply for parole in place, potentially enabling them to seek lawful permanent residence without leaving the U.S.

🌟 This is a game-changer for countless families who have been living in the shadows for years. 🌟

Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Eligibility: Noncitizen spouses of U.S. citizens who have been in the U.S. for 10+ years, have no disqualifying criminal history, and meet other requirements. Stepchildren of U.S. citizens are also eligible. USCIS will publish more details on eligibility on Monday, August 19, including additional information about disqualifying crimes.

✅ Start Date: Applications open August 19, 2024. 📅
