About 40 residents of 27 Park Place in Bloomfield have been displaced and also lost many of their personal possessions due to a roof collapse and massive water damage on March 7th.

Many residents have been staying in temporary housing provided by Bloomfield Township, but as of Friday, March 13th, they will need to find an alternative until the building is repaired and safe to inhabit again.

In addition to safe housing, several residents need to replace items that were permanently damaged by the water that gushed into the residence when the roof collapsed.

Many neighbors and local organizations have stepped up to help. We are working in cooperation with representatives from the group of displaced tenants to identify their needs and get them financial help, donations, and services.
