New office update! It’s been a busy but fun couple of months at work. I moved down the hall to a larger space with great windows looking out to Long Lake. Thankful that I can continue to work doing something I love and now in a space that feels very welcoming and zen. I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

A sweet client who I helped when her husband died stopped by today and made me this amazing blanket! It is gorgeous - she ever matched the colors in my office painting. I love my job and was so touched that she did this for me ❤️

A busy but wonderful day in the office this Friday. A sweet client stopped by with flowers, fruit and a beautiful note, my wonderful summer assistant Grace was reunited with her rescue pup after he was missing for 5 days and Jason is recovering nicely from knee surgery yesterday. Life is good. Have a great weekend everyone!

After many years of a home-based law practice, I have settled into my new office space in Bloomfield Hills. Working primarily from my home was the perfect scenario as a working mom with young kids but as my business (and my kids) have grown, I am so excited to have a full-time office in a great building close to home. I am still offering house calls to clients as needed but the majority of my appointments now happen in the office. Come by for a visit!

A big thank you to Jason for encouraging me to make this move, my girls for holding down the fort at home, my mom for the beautiful painting (and my dad for hanging the painting), and to Molly, her friend Stella and Rob Abbott for putting together mass amounts of Ikea furniture.

Fully Virtual Estate Planning Available

In response to the COVID pandemic, recently enacted legislation in Michigan allows for a fully virtual estate planning process where documents can be signed, witnessed and notarized remotely. I also offer safe, in-person signings and meetings in a spacious conference room or even outdoors. As a small business owner, this pandemic has inspired me to continue to offer excellent service to my clients in new and creative ways.
