If you are over 65 and have owned and lived in your Jefferson County home for five years, you are now eligible to freeze your home property taxes.

You will need to complete a form and take it to the Jefferson County Tax Assessor's Office in person.

This form MUST BE turned in by April 30, 2023 to have an effect on the property notices that will soon be going out.
