I was soo excited to get this decision! My client is hard of hearing and had her hours reduced on the schedule by her employer and was threatened with being fired. She quit and the Administrative Law Judge decided she was disqualified from unemployment benefits. I appealed to the Commission. The Commission found that an employer reducing an employee’s hours is a material change in an employee’s employment justifying their quitting and entitling them to unemployment benefits.
