Register now for Supervising Broker Endorsement Course

Supervising Broker Endorsement Class (8 Hours/8 CE Credits) Because “winging it” is not a supervision strategy. Ready to step into leadership and take your broker license to the next level? This 8-hour Supervising Broker Endorsement class is where you earn the authority to supervise agents—but more importantly, where you learn how to do it right. With supervision comes responsibility (and let’s be honest… a little liability too). This course dives into real-world scenarios, risk management, compliance, and what it truly means to lead agents in today’s ever-changing real estate landscape. Because great supervision isn’t just a title—it’s a skill.

How to Get Ready for New Appraisal Forms

• In a new, must-read NAR REALTOR® News article, NAR member and appraiser Cathy
Harper explains what agents and brokers need to know about the UAD 3.6 appraisal changes going into effect Nov. 2 for loans backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Among her tips:
- Expect a longer timeline. With a new process, format and workflows, appraisals
may take a little longer. Talk with the lender early about anticipated timing and
allow reasonable time in the transaction.
- Be ready for new form now. Lenders don’t have to wait for Nov. 2 to transition to
UAD 3.6 appraisals. Encourage borrowers to ask lenders which report format
they’re ordering.
- Include details. Make sure your packet for the appraiser includes relevant details
about the property: improvements, comps you believe are useful to consider
and why.
- Be responsive. When an appraiser contacts you about one of your previous sales,
return the call when you can. Another consumer’s transaction may depend on
information only you have.

Your professionalism will shine when you start preparing your clients now for the appraisal reporting changes underway—and embrace the important role of accurately documenting your knowledge about the properties you’re selling.

New NAR Fraud-Fighting Site Takes Aim at Real Estate Scams

Your clients are concerned—and they have reason to be. The latest FBI Internet Crime report shows victims lost more than $275 million to real estate-related fraud in 2025.
Now, agents have a resource to bookmark and return to when they need it. NAR has launched a new site, “Protecting Your Clients and Your Business From Fraud,” that brings fraud-prevention guidance together in one easy-to-scan place.

The site is organized around three steps: Prevent, detect and report. It covers common types of scams—from wire fraud and identity theft to deepfakes, seller impersonation and more—as well as the red flags to watch for, and what to do and who to contact if fraud is suspected.

NAR new fraud site can be found here: https://www.nar.realtor/fraud

A new NAR resource helps you spot real estate fraud and know what to do when a scam threatens your transaction.
