In our last post we discussed the importance of stepping back and deciding which divorce process is right for you. In this article, Kessler highlights how family law cases are extremely different than civil law cases, and therefore require different processes. He writes, "the litigants in a family law case will likely still see each other again and still have some sort of relationship. And for this reason, more patience, more alternative dispute resolution and more care is often required."
