Selling real estate is not easy in this market. Inventory is up and buyer demand is weaker than before. Making sure your home stands out is critical. No buyer viewings means NO OFFERS. In a high inventory market, buyers will pass on a home that is not updated or photographed well. Buyers often do not have a good eye for design, which means they cannot see how easy it is to change some part of the home. Also, buyers often don’t have extra cash to make updates and rather finance a turn key home than do it themselves.

Pricing, updating, design, staging and marketing need to go right. There are many ways things can go wrong. List too high, the home sits on the market and gets stale. Pick the wrong stager and the house looks cheap or does not match the furniture. Pick the wrong photographer and the best house angles are not shot or your staging looks off. Details matter. Having an experienced and savvy realtor in your corner is critical.

The client gave my full authority for mild renovation and design for this home. I brought in my stager who is also a designer and perfectionist. I attended the photo shoot and made sure the furniture was adjusted and the angles were right. I treat each home like it was my own and its presentation is a reflection of me.
