Many professionals believe that having a bachelor's degree and several years of work experience automatically qualifies them for an EB-2 Green Card. The reality is more nuanced.

In some cases, USCIS considers a bachelor's degree plus at least five years of progressive post-degree experience to be the equivalent of an advanced degree. However, this alone does not guarantee EB-2 eligibility.

The position itself must require that level of education and experience, and your work history must clearly demonstrate that you meet those requirements. Your employment records, experience letters, and supporting evidence all play a critical role in proving your eligibility.

A well-prepared case can make the difference between approval and unnecessary delays.

At Raju Law, we carefully evaluate your qualifications, review your experience, and build a strong EB-2 petition supported by the right legal strategy and documentation. Contact Raju Law today to find out whether you qualify for an EB-2 Green Card.

If your long-term goal is to become a U.S. permanent resident, choosing the right visa from the beginning can make your immigration journey much smoother.

Some visa categories, such as the L-1 Intracompany Transferee Visa and the O-1 Visa for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability, recognize that applicants may eventually pursue permanent residency. This concept, often referred to as dual intent, allows eligible individuals to seek a Green Card without conflicting with the purpose of their temporary visa.

For many professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, researchers, artists, and other highly accomplished individuals, these visa options can serve as a practical pathway toward long-term immigration goals. However, each category has its own eligibility requirements and legal considerations, making proper planning essential.

At Raju Law, our experienced immigration attorneys help clients develop a personalized immigration strategy based on their career goals and long-term plans. Whether you are pursuing an L-1, O-1, or a future employment-based Green Card, we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Contact Raju Law today and let us help you build the right strategy for your future in the United States.

Many professionals on TN visas dream of launching their own business in the United States. However, the TN classification is designed for employment with a qualifying employer and is generally not intended for operating your own business.

If your goal is to become an entrepreneur, it may be time to explore a more suitable immigration pathway. Depending on your circumstances, options such as the E-2 Treaty Investor Visa or the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program may better support your long-term business and immigration goals. The E-2 visa generally requires you to own at least 50% of the U.S. business and make a substantial investment, while the EB-5 program offers a path to permanent residency through qualifying investments that meet program requirements.

Choosing the right visa before investing your time and money is essential. A strategic approach can help protect both your business plans and your immigration status.

At Raju Law, we help entrepreneurs and investors identify the immigration option that best aligns with their goals and prepare strong, well-documented applications. Contact Raju Law today to begin your journey toward building your business in the United States.

Think the EB-1A is only for celebrities or Nobel Prize winners? Think again.

The EB-1A is available to individuals who can demonstrate extraordinary ability through qualifying evidence. Your publications, leadership, awards, original contributions, media recognition, and other achievements may all play a role in your case.

📌 Contact Raju Law to explore whether your professional achievements may support an EB-1A petition.

“Our team recently collaborated with a filmmaker whose career combines international recognition, creative innovation, and entrepreneurial leadership. The client has earned awards, premiered films at festivals, and founded his own production company, producing projects across genres such as historical dramas, adventure, romance, political dramas, and horror films. His accomplishments spanned multiple EB-1A criteria, including Awards, Published Material, Leading or Critical Role, Artistic Exhibitions, and serving as a Judge of other works.

Although the client met multiple criteria, the evidence was scattered across projects, festivals, streaming platforms, and collaborators. The challenge was to present a clear, cohesive narrative that showcased sustained acclaim and ongoing influence rather than isolated successes. Simply listing achievements would not convey the full scope of his extraordinary ability or the long-term impact of his work.

Our team collaborated to organize awards, festival participation, streaming metrics, published reviews, and service for assessing others' work into a structured timeline. Letters from collaborators, distributors, and industry peers emphasized leadership, originality, and peer recognition. By framing the evidence around continuous influence, we highlighted the client’s role in shaping projects from concept to release. This approach demonstrated that each accomplishment was part of a broader trajectory of professional excellence.

The final presentation made it clear that the client’s extraordinary ability was consistent and verifiable across multiple projects. USCIS could see both his creative talent and leadership, along with measurable influence on the filmmaking community. Recognition and achievement were shown to be sustained over time, extending beyond individual awards to a broader impact on peers, collaborators, and the independent film ecosystem.

Even when multiple EB-1A criteria are satisfied, the strongest cases emphasize continuity, influence, and peer recognition, showing that accomplishments form a sustained trajectory of extraordinary ability rather than isolated moments of success. From our experience, for creative professionals, success often depends less on adding more evidence and more on strategically highlighting the scope, depth, and lasting impact of their work.”

Even better, the Dates for Filing are CURRENT for everyone. That means eligible applicants may be able to start the filing process now.
This is also the last Visa Bulletin of Fiscal Year 2026, and F2A continues to be one of the fastest-moving family-based categories this year.

🎉 BIG NEWS for F4 Visa Applicants!

The September 2026 Visa Bulletin is here, and F4 has made a major move forward.

The Dates for Filing cutoff has advanced to November 1, 2011, while the Final Action Date has moved to October 22, 2011.

If your priority date is earlier than November 1, 2011, you may now be able to start the Immigrant Visa process with the National Visa Center (NVC).

But this is where you need to be careful. Once your case moves forward, even a small mistake in your paperwork or DS-260 can create serious delays. Your Affidavit of Support and financial documents also need to properly support your case.

At Raju Law, we help F4 families navigate this stage with a clear strategy, from preparing the required documents to getting ready for the visa interview. Our goal is to help you reach Documentarily Qualified status without unnecessary back-and-forth with NVC.

After waiting for years, don’t let a paperwork mistake set your case back.

📞 Contact Raju Law today to discuss your F4 case and understand what this movement means for you.
