An Edmond medical ma*****na business is shut down and fined more than half a million dollars after the Oklahoma Medical Ma*****na Authority said their product tested above the legal limits for dangerous pesticides. News 9's Dana Hertneky has the story.

As some of you are probably aware, thanks to Genesis Canna-Farms as the Plaintiff, and Ron Durbin/Christina Vaughn at Viridian Legal Services (it takes a village for this industry), the State of Oklahoma/OMMA, agreed to:

1 The non-enforcement of the 2-year residency rule for licenses granted and/or applied for as August 29, 2019,
2 To rescind and reconsider all license renewal rejections for license applications before August 29, 2019, if the decision was related to the 2 year residency requirements,
3 Not consider the 1000 foot rule in reviewing applications, renewals, or transfers, if such applicant originally applied for licensure before August 29, 2019, and
4 To rescind and reconsider all license renewal rejections for license applications before August 29, 2019, if the decision was related to a dispensary location being within one thousand feet of school or a pre-school

Congrats to Legal Aid Services for getting an Affidavit approved today for CARES ACT evictions.
