We’re offering a special dedicated time at our 15 REAL ID Centers on Monday, May 19 from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM to help Pennsylvanians get their REAL ID. Our REAL ID Centers allow you to walk out with your REAL ID the same day!

*REAL ID is optional. Federal REAL ID enforcement started May 7, 2025. Pennsylvanians now need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license/photo ID card, or another form of federally acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID), to board domestic commercial flights. REAL ID will remain available to our customers even after May 7, 2025.*

All PennDOT driver license and photo centers will be closed Saturday, November 11, for Veterans Day. All locations will follow their normal hours on November 10 except the Pittsburgh State Office and Harrisburg Riverfront Office Center, which will be closed for the observed holiday.
