Justice for the residents of Biscoe, Arkansas was a long time coming. In September of 2017, contractors building new bridges over the white river, near Biscoe, cross connected the water and sewer lines, pumping raw sewage into the entire Biscoe water system and the homes connected to it. The case settled after 4 days of trial which will result in a new water system for the city and new plumbing for the impacted homes.

In early September, 2017, over three hundred homes had their water systems contaminated by raw sewage when an out of state contractor cross-connected water and sewer lines. The cross-connection occurred near Biscoe, in Prairie County, Arkansas, and affected members of the Biscoe Water Association and East Prairie County Water Association.

The Arkansas Department of Health issued citations to the responsible contractor for health code violations and placed the residents under a mandatory boil order.

Many people in the area became sick from the sewer water and suffered damages to both their personal property and real property.

The case is currently pending in Federal Court in Little Rock, and our firm represents those who suffered damages.

Due to the rural location, many residents may not know that a lawsuit to recover their damages is pending.
