When your own insurance company denies your claim, Arkansas law may still be on your side.

If you have to fight your own insurer to get paid what you are owed, Arkansas law allows you to recover a 12% penalty plus attorney's fees on top of that amount, if the case meets certain conditions.

This applies whether the claim is for your home, your vehicle, an uninsured or underinsured driver, or an individual health policy.
