Saturday sundowner with Holly. It’s been a year since I have even been able to get Holly on a boat again since her burn injury. It has been hard for her with her PTSD as a result of that negligence. She still needs to have constant human contact which continues to be a challenge. It has been a lesson in patience for me as we continue to navigate through the challenges of this “new Holly”. At times I want to give up and just stay home…it’s easier for sure. But not how I want to continue living this one crazy life.

We continue to receive so much grace from so many which is humbling. Today as I was doing chores in the boat, Holly barked the entire time if she couldn’t see me. The young couple on the boat next to me, Henry and Connie, were so sweet with her all afternoon. That kindness, in turn, gives me some peace on difficult days like this with her.

Tonight…we watch the sunset with the tranquil sounds of water around us….and a bit-o-Jameson. Reflecting on taking all things one day at a time.

I love . There’s just something about putting the final touches on an already beautiful design. I just can’t stop smiling! Like putting that favorite piece of jewelry and your own shade of lipstick on before heading out. Highlighting your uniqueness and beauty in those final details….there’s no better feeling, right?

This community of townhomes have truly unique features to them that staging helps in highlighting. I wanted these luxury homes to show their individuality from the rest of the cookie-cutter urban living choices out there. How to best accentuate natural lighting? How living spaces can serve multiple purposes in our busy lives. How, most of the time, less is more.

From the unique entry foyer to the rooftop terrace and all the breathtaking light-filled spaces in between, mindful design deserves to be showcased. As I walk through the newly landscaped sustainable garden spaces I can already see spring is around the corner. Such vibrancy in these outdoor gathering areas already. So much color!

I want to thank the amazing team at KCD Staging for their insight in putting the finishing “bling” in this model home. The home feels finished, loved, and soon-to-be spoken for.
