Many of you know my connection to Sri Lanka. I have seen something beautiful, topical, and informative about Sri Lanka: A short film/documentary called "Democracy in Debt: Sri Lanka Beyond the Headlines" by Beena Sarwar, a senior Pakistani journalist based in the Boston area.

This is a very beautiful, artistic, and informative film about democracy, governance, and people - an increasingly relevant topic to many developing economies - many in South Asia.

Beena is visiting Seattle from the 16th October to the 20th to attend the Tasveer South Asian Film Festival in Seattle.
