Mistakes will happen in life.

Forgiving yourself and learning isn't something that has to though.

The last 42 years I have made a lot of mistakes, good and bad.

hurt a lot and loved a lot. Helped some hurt some.

I realized as I am getting older though, the harder I am on myself, the harder it is to learn.

I don't have to accept my behavior, however, as I go back to therapy and work on me to be a better man, I am releasing some of the guilt I have been carrying god it feels like my entire life.

Love yourself and give yourself the grace you'd give and tell others.

Work on forgiveness and getting better.

This is just my message to me.

are you solving for the right problem?

So often we are quick to respond but do you know if you have helped your prospect ISOLATE the actual issues they are having?

We often think that because a previous client had an issue, then the next one is going to have the same issue and we go into problem solving sales mode to quickly.

This will create a wall of resistance and block your opportunity to help the person you are trying to work with.

3 Tips

1. Slow down
2. Use this Framework
DHIS- Disarm, Humanize, Isolate, Solve
3. Use curiosity and empathy as needed to allow the prospect to know you actually care about them and are not just trying to shove a solution at them.

Doing this will increase your conversion rate and will stop getting you ghosted.

Taking sales advise from someone whose never sold any real estate as an agent

Is like driving lessons from someone who's never driven.

You can learn theory but they won't ever know the real in's and out's

PS- this is the same as also learning from your broker/brokerage owner that never sold anything.

Most trainers never sold, do your research before giving up your $$ and TIME.

Whats better objection handling or objection understanding

Is the response you were taught, and be real, best for you or best for the customer?

You see objection handling and understanding are 2 different skills.

one is to gain insight if you can actually help a person, the other is to push your way through them and win.

What did your prospect mean by that question...

8 out of 10 will make an assumption, like

Well you know they need a lower rate b/c they can't afford the payment.

Being able to afford (yes many can't) and being unhappy about the payment are different.
