In memory of the sweetest member of The Sutherland Law Firm. Jake was a faithful worker who came to work with enthusiasm every day. He loved his job but was also excited to go home at the end of the day. He had a huge love of the bay and would enjoy his time in the water regardless of the weather. Jake brought so much joy to us all and we miss him so much.

The Sutherland Law Firm is excited to announce that it has been chosen by the University of Maine School of Law to participate in the Rural Fellowship Program! This is a competitive program for only a select few law students. It is a 10 week program that gives the rural fellow the exposure to the breadth and potential of serving Maine's rural communities through the practice of law.

We are very honored to have Ms. Lisa Rosenthal with us for the summer! Ms. Rosenthal brings a tremendous amount of enthusiasm, skill and talent to our firm. Welcome!!
