"WE ARE FAMILY" is what the T-shirts read for the Brewer family (and they are an awesome family), as Judge Thomas Fast granted Jennifer And Macky Brewer's  petition to have Marissa as their  FOREVER daughter. Thanks to our DHS Adoption Specialist, Emily Saunders for her help in moving this case so promptly. The celebration of family was held by our Adoption Attorney, Jacob Snuffer.

ADOPTION ALERT ❤️ Congrats to Lacie And Dylan, who just became FOREVER mom and dad to Beau Scott Patterson, thanks to the help of Circuit Judge Tim Sweeney, and our Blueprints Adoption Specialist, Emily Stockdale. Having been a GAL and a trainer of GALs for close to 4 decades (yep, I'm that old!), sometimes you get accused of being deaf to the needs of bio parents. But most GALs I know personally truly want a child to return home IF it's possible, but "safety" must  always come before "permanency." (Thanks again to the feathered nest blog for sharing some thought-provoking stuff.)
