Law firm seeking paralegal / legal assistant in small Beaufort, N.C. law office handling primarily family law matters, wills, estates, and miscellaneous civil litigation matters. Some general office work included such as billing and shared responsibilities with two (2) other staff members to answer the telephone. Must be familiar with the preparation of pleadings and correspondence. Familiarity with CLIO, OFFICE 365 a benefit. This is a full-time position, pay dependent on qualifications, this is an in-office position.

Our law firm is also seeking a second paralegal, to work PART-TIME and REMOTELY, on complex equitable distribution matters. Specifically, to work in the preparation of pleadings, discovery answers, gathering discovery documents from clients, reviewing discovery produced, preparing financial and equitable distribution affidavits, and aid in the preparation for mediations and trials. Pay dependent on qualifications.
