New Position Available: Real Estate Paralegal in our Beaufort office

Harvey & Battey, P.A. is a full-service law firm with a complete real estate department serving residential and commercial buyers, sellers, and lending institutions. We are looking to add a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to our team, focusing on post-closing responsibilities.

Position Summary: The Real Estate Paralegal will be responsible for client management and for processing and preparing real estate closings for buyers and sellers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Engaging with real estate agents and clients to prepare for real estate closings.
- Working with lending institutions to complete closing packages and loan documents after closing, and mailing necessary payoffs and closing documents.
- Preparing real estate closing files for ex*****on by attorneys and clients.
- Communicating with clients, lenders, Realtors, and service providers in person, by telephone, and by email.
- Maintaining legal files (both paper and electronic), organizing and filing documents.
- Managing document deliveries and tracking final executed documents.
- Assisting with overflow work and other projects as needed.

Qualified candidates will have 2 to 5 years of real estate transaction experience. Experience with Title Express or Qualia is preferred.
