NOM Baked Goods Home-based business for cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods I chose "NOM" as a name because that's the sound you make when you eat something delicious!

I like to say I'm the "poor man's cake decorator". I make tiered, sculpted, or sheet cakes (covered in frosting or fondant) for people who may otherwise not be able to afford it or simply don't want to pay the high prices of a gourmet professional bakery. I also do other decorated and non-decorated desserts such as cupcakes, muffins, donuts, breads, and regular dessert cakes. We operate out of a h

ome kitchen under the Cottage Food Law, so we do not have a store front (yet!). I am self-taught in baking and decorating.

I must confess that I've never eaten a peanut butter & banana sandwich.... But I HAVE eaten my banana cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. And they are delicious.

Many thanks to everyone who supports us! What started as a few side cakes for friends and family has blossomed into an educational and rewarding experience. When I made my first solo cake, I never intended to start a business of any kind, but I am so grateful for all of the opportunities that have presented themselves. I am incredibly honored that so many people have asked me to be a part of their special occasions, and I look forward to so many more.
