And you do not have to explain every season you survived.

Some days, the win is choosing peace.
Some days, the win is handling business with grace, faith, and a little lipstick.

That part.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is stop overextending yourself.

You can be a mother, wife, survivor, businesswoman, creator, notary, friend, and still choose rest without guilt.

You do not have to prove your love by running on empty.
You do not have to earn your worth by being available to everybody.
You do not have to lose yourself trying to keep everything together.

This season, I’m choosing peace, purpose, healing, and obedience.

Because I survived too much to keep abandoning myself.

Happy Mother’s Day.

Today, I’m reflecting on motherhood, healing, and legacy.

Motherhood is more than what we carry in our arms. Sometimes it is what we carry in our hearts, our homes, our prayers, our work, and our purpose.

To every mother, grandmother, bonus mother, caregiver, auntie, mentor, and woman who has had to keep showing up while healing privately, I see you.

As a mother, grandmother, wife, and multiple myeloma cancer survivor, I’ve learned that some stories are too important not to write down. Some journeys deserve to be documented, not because they were easy, but because they became evidence of strength, faith, and resilience.

This month, I’ll be sharing something created from faith, survival, and the journey God carried me through.

Cancer did not end my story.

It helped me write a new chapter.

Five years ago, life hit pause.
Doctors. Treatments. Prayers. Faith on repeat.

Today, I celebrate 5 years in remission.

Five years of grace.
Five years of second chances.
Five years God said, “Not finished yet.”

And here’s the part that means the most to me…

I’m still here.
Still standing.
Still able to serve my community every single day.

Every notarization.
Every family I help.
Every client I meet.

It’s not just business for me.
It’s purpose.

Beating cancer didn’t slow me down.
It sharpened my why.

So grateful. So blessed. So thankful.
And trust me… more is coming.
