“For it is written: ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.’”

The world may question bold leadership, but as believers, we trust in the sovereignty of God—and we are grateful for a president like Donald J. Trump, who refuses to bow to weak diplomacy or globalist pressure.

Today, as the United States takes decisive action to neutralize Iran’s nuclear threat, we stand in agreement. We believe President Trump is being led by strength, discernment, and a deep commitment to protecting American lives and preserving peace through power.

While the so-called “wise” of this world scramble with their talking points and political games, God is at work—frustrating their schemes and raising up leaders who will not be intimidated by evil.

We pray for our military, for our allies, and for true justice to prevail.
And we boldly declare: America will not be destroyed from the outside so long as we return to God and stand on truth.

This verse serves as a powerful reminder of divine compassion and the assurance that God is always mindful of His people, regardless of their circumstances. In verse 16 it says, “I will not forget you. I have your name carved in the palm of My hand.” Every time God opens His hand, He sees your name. He's reminded of you. You may have had some bad breaks, some closed doors, some people that didn't do you right, but God will never forget you!

Today, on this sacred Memorial Day, my heart is full of gratitude—and of tears—for the brave souls who laid down their lives so we might know freedom.

As a former state senator, I walked the halls of the Capitol, meeting veterans whose eyes carried the weight of war. As an attorney, I listen to Gold Star families’ stories of love and loss—stories that remind me freedom is never free.

Today, I think of the young soldier who never saw his first sunrise back home, of the mother awaiting her child’s return, of the empty chair at the family table. Their sacrifice echoes in every heartbeat of this nation.

Let us honor them by cherishing every sunrise, by lifting up the families they left behind, and by living lives that reflect the promise they fought to protect.

With deepest respect and unending gratitude, we remember—and we carry their legacy forward.

As a former senator, an attorney, and a proud American, I reflect deeply this Sunday before Memorial Day on the true cost of peace and freedom.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” – Matthew 5:9

This scripture reminds us that those who serve—whether on the battlefield, in the courtroom, or in public office—carry a sacred duty to uphold peace and justice.
