Check your automobile insurance policy. Agents say you have "full coverage", but that usually means the minimum required by State law. Check to see if you have uninsured-underinsured motorist coverage. It covers you and your family if the other driver has no insurance or not enough insurance.Contact me with any questions.

What is UM coverage? In Louisiana this stands for underinsured and/or uninsured. Drivers are required to carry insurance coverage in Louisiana. Unfortunately not everyone does or they carry the minimum required coverage of $15,000. UM coverage is purchased through your policy and provides coverage over and above the at fault driver limits. Protect yourself and your family.
