If your car flooded or was totaled in a wreck, and your insurer paid you, you are probably owed more money. I will gladly review your valuation and tell you if you are owed more money. The fact you cashed the insurance check does not mean your claim is settled or closed.

Did Progressive Paloverde or Progressive Security Insurance declare your vehicle a total loss? The Progressive group is seriously underpaying people for their totaled cars. Get what you are owed. Have your valuation reviewed here.

"Mitchell Work Center" provides "values" for totaled vehicles to Progressive and other insurers. I just looked at a report based upon "comparable vehicles" allegedly worth $14-16,000. All were old and sold. My search shows comparable vehicles listed from $19,000 - $21,000. This is a scam. If your car is a total loss, demand to see the valuation report and find out what similar cars really cost. Better still, contact me and I will tell you what you are owed.

If your insurer declared your vehicle to be a total loss, you may be owed much more than you were paid - even if you were paid years ago. This is because some insurers use computer programs that artificially lower the calculated values.

Under Louisiana Law, the Insurance company must declare your vehicle to be a total loss when it "has sustained damages equivalent to seventy five percent or more of the market value as determined by the most current National Automobile Dealers Association Handbook.” In most cases, your insurer is required to pay you the cost of replacing the vehicle, less your deductible. If your insurer did not pay you based upon the cost of a comparable vehicle, you may be entitled to recover more money.
