We are so excited to introduce Audrey to the Downtown Covington office! Stop by the Covington office for some amazing Cherrybomb Nitro coffee and meet our newest addition.
Audrey Gitz, a Licensed Louisiana Attorney, is the newest addition to the Fleur De Lis Law and Title’s Covington office and joined the team in March 2021.
Audrey attended Louisiana State University and graduated Cum Laude with degrees in History and Political Science. While at Louisiana State University she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority and served as Risk Management chair. She also participated in the University’s Study Abroad Program spending six weeks in Ireland studying History and Comparative Politics.
Audrey then went on to earn her Law Degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. While in law school Audrey served as Student Bar Association 1L and 2L Vice President for her first two years and as Student Bar Association 3L Class President in her last year. Additionally, she participated in the Law Center’s Study Abroad Program in Lyon, France where she studied Immigration Law and Wine Law.
Prior to joining Fleur De Lis Title, Audrey worked in maritime and energy litigation in New Orleans for two and half years. She was a member of the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA), Federal Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, co-authoring the articles “Recent Developments in Admiralty and Maritime Law”, published in the Spring 2020 and Spring 2021 issue of the American Bar Association’s Tort, Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal.
Audrey was born and raised in Covington and is excited to call it home once again after purchasing her first home with her fiancé Tyler, who is also an attorney. She enjoys being an active member of the Northshore community and is exceptionally fond of Mayor Mark’s Spring Concerts at the Bogue Falaya Park. Additionally, she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and playing recreational sports.
